Wraparound

Chester Elementary Wraparound Program Information 

 

 

Our Wraparound program provides care and services for Chester Elementary families. It operates Monday-Friday from 7:30-8:25 am and from 3:35-5:00 pm. Our care provides a safe environment for students at a minimal cost. Mrs. Cindy Harrison is the director of the program. Activities in our Wrap Around program will include homework help, projects and structured play. Please make sure your child brings a snack to enjoy during wrap around (This should be in addition to their school day snack.). 

Cost for the Wrap Around Program is listed on page two of the form linked below. If your child is picked up after 5:00pm, a late fee of $5 (per every 5 minutes past 5:00pm) will be charged. If your unpaid balance exceeds $90, your child will not be able to utilize Wrap Around care until your balance is paid in full. 

Please send a note into school with your child(ren) to inform us of which day(s) he/she/they will be attending afternoon Wraparound Care. Include which day(s) your child will be staying for after school Wraparound care only. You do not need to inform us, in advance, if your student(s) will be utilizing morning wraparound care. All families who have completed registration paperwork are free to utilize morning wraparound care on an as needed and regular basis. You can also call the main office, before 2pm, to inform our school secretary if your student(s) need to stay for afternoon  wraparound care. You can inform us if your child(ren) will be utilizing afternoon wrap around care on a weekly and/or daily basis.  

The Chester Wrap Around program will be open on early release days and on days where there is a delay due to weather.  On days when a full day of school is canceled because of inclement weather, wrap around will not be open. We will not be open on school vacations or holidays.

All students must be registered, 24 hours in advance, in order to attend our wraparound care program. You can register your child by filling out the electronic registration form(which is accessible through the link provided below).
